Privacy policy

PhotoSpin picks a random photo from your own gallery. Your photos stay on your phone.
What PhotoSpin does with your data
- Photos. When you scan your device or choose photos, PhotoSpin reads them on your phone to show them on the wheel. Photos are never uploaded, copied to a server, or sent to anyone.
- What it stores. A small database on your phone holds references to your chosen photos (their location, name and date), your wheels, and your spin history. Nothing else.
- Settings. Your theme, wheel skin and centre hub choice are stored on your phone.
What PhotoSpin does not do
- It does not connect to the internet. The app does not request network access.
- It has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- It does not share data with third parties.
Actions you start yourself
- Save to gallery writes a copy of the photo you are viewing to your phone's gallery.
- Share opens Android's share sheet. What happens next depends on the app you choose.
Permissions
- Photos (read media images). Used only to scan your gallery for the wheel when you ask it to.
- Vibration. Used for the click feel as the wheel spins.
Backups
If you have Android's automatic backup turned on, the system may back up PhotoSpin's small database of photo references to your own Google account. That is controlled by your Android settings, not by PhotoSpin. Your photos themselves are not part of it.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling PhotoSpin removes everything it stores. Inside the app you can delete a photo, a wheel, or your history at any time.
Children
PhotoSpin is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
